How it All Started

Vectura was founded in 2012, with a long-term ambition to create value through real estate development, ownership and management. Backed by Patricia Industries, part of Investor AB, we have grown on a foundation of stability, long-term thinking and a belief that the built environment can play a meaningful role in society.

In our early years, Vectura developed a broad real estate platform spanning both social infrastructure and commercial properties. We built experience across areas such as healthcare and care facilities, preschools, offices, hotels and urban development. That breadth helped shape our understanding of how places can support people’s everyday lives as well as business growth and long-term societal needs.

Today, Vectura is a fast-growing real estate company focused on developing, owning and managing properties in Sweden’s leading innovation clusters.

In recent years, our direction has become increasingly clear. We create environments where business, research and academia can meet, collaborate and grow together — places designed to strengthen innovation, enable new ideas and contribute to Swedish competitiveness.

This evolution reflects both continuity and change. We remain a long-term owner with strong real estate expertise, but our focus today is sharper: to develop spaces for innovation in areas such as life science, tech and knowledge-intensive industries. In doing so, we aim not only to build properties, but to help shape ecosystems where progress can happen.
